UNDER THE WEATHER IN IRELAND September 20, 2007

Here’s a recap of my recent ailments:

  1.  A week and a half ago – Pull a muscle in my back, disabling me from walking and running…I’m still not able to run.
  2. Five days ago – Onset of a 3-day migraine
  3. Yesterday – Get a bout of the stomach flu

I’m keeping my fingers crossed that things come in threes and that there aren’t any additional serious issues in my near-distant future.  Besides, I don’t think my body can possibly handle any more misfortune.   My roommates have been wonderful in taking care of me through all my tribulations and I can’t thank them enough for nursing me back to better health.  We did have a great laugh at my disabled condition, with me first crawling around the house and then walking like an emu to and from school.  At least my back issues are almost all better, thanks to a great massage from Kieran, my new masseuse.  Though, I can’t shake this virus just yet, so it is probably going to be a few more days before I am fully recovered.
